Internship

The intern will assist the Director with the management of the WSC and the development of a grant writing/marketing strategy. The intern must be at least a rising college sophomore. He/she must have a 'can-do' attitude and contribute new and creative ideas for programming.

The intern
  • researches new topics for seminars
  • develops grant proposals for new projects
  • schedules meetings with U.S. House of Representatives
  • assigns social justice work projects for visiting groups
  • issues contracts for visiting groups

    The internship is a full-time unpaid position under the supervision of the Washington Seminar Center Director. The internship will last four to eight weeks during the summer months. Exact dates are negotiable, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. If interested, please submit a resume, cover letter, and photograph to:
