Biography of Dr. Elizabeth Marshall
Liz Marshall is a resource economist in the People and Ecosystems Program
at the World Resources Institute.
Her background is in both economics and ecology; she received an M.S. in Biological
Sciences, with a specialization in conservation biology, from Stanford University,
followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University
of Minnesota.
Liz’s research interests have centered on the co-evolution of the environmental
and social landscape, and on the role that this interaction has in policy and planning.
