The Washington Seminar Center is part of Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church, the oldest Presbyterian building in the city, just three blocks from the US Capitol. Our address is 201 4th Street, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20003.

Two subway stations on the Orange and Blue Metro lines, Capitol South and Eastern Market, major bus routes, and Union Station are also nearby.

From I-95 Driving North

• Follow I-95 North all the way to Washington, D.C. I-95 North will become I-395 North.
• Follow I-395 North over the Potomac River, staying in the right lane and bearing right when the road splits at the Jefferson Memorial. Stay on I-395 North.
• You will pass exits for L'Enfant Plaza and Maine Avenue. When the road splits again, you should stay in one of the left lanes, following signs for I-295 South and South Capitol St.
• Right after you pass the South Capitol St. exit, get into the right lane and start looking for the exit for 6th St. SE.
• Take the exit for 6th St.,. SE. Turn left at the light at the bottom of the exit ramp and go under the highway. You are now on 6th St. SE. Go straight through the next light and continue going straight on 6th St., SE.
• You will cross South Carolina Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., North Carolina Ave., and Independence Ave. After crossing Independence, go one more block and then turn left on A St. SE.
• Go two blocks on A St., SE, then turn left on 4th St., SE.
• Go one block and you will see the church on your right, at the corner of 4th and Independence Avenue, SE. Go through the stoplight at that intersection, pass the front of the church, then turn right just after the church to park alongside the church in spaces 1, 2, or 3.

• Take I-95 to the Baltimore/Washington Parkway toward Washington, D.C.
• When you are getting close to D.C., the Parkway will split. The right lanes will go toward Highway 50 and the sign will say toward Washington, D.C. DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT.
• The left lanes will go toward I-295-South and toward Richmond, TAKE THIS EXIT, even though it seems counter-intuitive. The left hand exit will take you to Capitol Hill, if you take the right hand lanes, you will end up on New York Avenue and north of the Capitol Hill area.
• Once you have taken the left-hand lane split, this will become I-295-South. Stay on this road until you reach the East Capitol Street exit. Once you exit on to East Capitol Street, you will see the RFK Stadium in front of you.
• Follow the road around the Stadium and this will put you on C St., NE. Follow C St., NE until you reach 11th St., NE and turn left.
• Go approximately 3 blocks and turn right onto East Capitol Street. Take East Capitol Street to 4th St. and turn left.
• Go two blocks and you will see the church on your right, at the corner of 4th and Independence Avenue, SE. Go through the stoplight at that intersection, pass the front of the church, then turn right to park alongside the church in spaces 1, 2, or 3.

• Take I-66 all the way into the city until it becomes Constitution Ave. and follow it all the way into the heart of the city. Watch the street signs carefully; at one point (around 6th St., SE and Pennsylvania Avenue) Constitution Avenue makes a slight curve to the left.
• Continue on Constitution up the hill (Capitol Hill). You will see the Capitol building on your right.
• After you reach the top of the hill, turn right onto 4th St., NE (it is a one-way street) and continue for four blocks (you will cross over East Capitol Street).
• When you reach the intersection of 4th St., SE and Independence Avenue, SE, you will see the church on your right.
• Go through the stoplight at that intersection, pass the front of the church, then turn right to park alongside the church in spaces 1, 2, or 3.
